As a DOE Food Education Provider, FoodStream Learn blends literacy with hands-on cooking, gardening, and interactive gaming to deepen students' understanding of diet, health, food origins, and sustainability. Through our network, we also offer pathways to mentorships and internships in food-related careers.
Our goal at Foodstream Learn is to enrich every child's educational journey through comprehensive food literacy, aligned with Common Core standards. We cater to multilingual students of all ages and abilities, integrating hands-on cooking, gardening, and technology into our dynamic curriculum. This approach helps students gain a thorough understanding of food’s impact on health, its origins, and its ties to language, culture, literacy, numeracy, and STEAM subjects. Food education is crucial for healthier students, families, and communities, contributing to better nutrition, reduced health risks, and improved academic outcomes.
For older students, we not only enrich their understanding of food but also prepare them for careers in culinary technology, nutrition entrepreneurship, and various other food-related fields.

Each week, parents will identify a new healthy step to implement with their families, sharing their challenges and successes in subsequent sessions. This iterative approach is designed to foster lasting healthy habits among parents and children.
